The Shepherd Society organized a free medical day in collaboration with Lions Club Bethlehem Star, Bethlehem Bible College, Al-Mutla’ Hospital (Augusta Victoria), and Lana Foundation, with outstanding participation from medical teams and volunteers who generously shared their time and expertise.
The event saw a strong turnout from the local community, and a variety of medical services were provided free of charge, including:
- 90 diabetes screenings
- 70 eye examinations
- 50 clinical exams + mammograms for early breast cancer detection
- 100 blood tests (CBC)
The day also featured nutritional consultations and awareness sessions on disease prevention and early detection of chronic illnesses, emphasizing the importance of health awareness in building a stronger and healthier community.
