Shepherd Society has signed two new agreements with the Pontifical Mission. The first agreement aims to provide employment opportunities for individuals who lost their jobs as a result of the war. The second focuses on offering medical assistance to the most vulnerable groups.
This important step reflects a shared spirit of partnership and social responsibility.
Rev. Dr. Jack Sara, President of Bethlehem Bible College, praised the ongoing cooperation, noting that it reflects the depth of the mission carried by both institutions — expressed most clearly through serving people with dignity and effectiveness.
Mr. Joseph Hazboun, Director of the Pontifical Mission, emphasized that this partnership is a strategic step that strengthens institutional collaboration during challenging times. He highlighted the importance of clear implementation mechanisms to ensure support reaches those in need with efficiency, transparency, and lasting impact.
Ms. Shireen Awwad Hilal, Director of BethBC Community & Development Outreach, expressed her appreciation for this constructive partnership and affirmed the importance of expanding future projects that support and strengthen the resilience of the local community affected by the war.
The meeting was attended on behalf of the Pontifical Mission by Mr. Rudolf Saadeh, Project Manager, and Ms. Abeer Atallah, Project Coordinator. Representing Bethlehem Bible College were Dr. Jihan Twemeh Nazzal, Administrative and Financial Director; Dr. Yousef AlKhouri, Academic Dean; and Mr. Elias Awad, Community Projects Director, reflecting their shared commitment to meaningful and sustainable service.
