She had not yet reached a year and a half, yet her tiny body carried more than her age could bear. This little girl was born with severe enlargement of her adenoids and tonsils, making her breathing unstable and her sleep dangerously interrupted.
Every night, her family lived through indescribable fear. Moments when her breath would stop, and she would suddenly lose consciousness—as if life itself was slipping away for painful seconds. Sleep was not rest for her, but a silent battle between life and breathlessness.
Her father, who once worked in Jerusalem to provide for her medical care, lost his job after the events of 2023, leaving him unable to cover the cost of the surgery and essential medication his daughter desperately needed.
In the midst of this pain, the Shepherd Society became a ray of hope. They took full responsibility for her surgery and provided the necessary medications, marking the beginning of her healing journey.
Today, after the operation, this little girl’s life has changed. She now sleeps peacefully, breathes normally, and lives her childhood as it should be—free from fear.
This story is not only about suffering, but about hope fulfilled… and a helping hand that arrived just in time to restore a child’s right to life.
