O Lord of mercy and compassion, who commanded us to love our neighbors and offer help to those in need.

• We lift our hearts to You on this blessed day, as we gather in the Good Shepherd Society, to serve our brothers and sisters who are needy and sick.
  “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40) 

• O Lord, we thank You for this precious opportunity that You have given us, to be an instrument of good in Your hands, and to serve Your needy servants.
• We thank You for every employee in this society, and for every volunteer who dedicates their time and effort to serve those in need.
• We ask You, O Lord, to bless them and reward them with the best of rewards, and to grant them strength and determination to continue this noble work.
• O Lord, we ask You to bless all those who support this society, materially and morally. Bless them in their wealth and their children, and make them always a help to those in need. Amen.
• O Lord, we ask You to heal all the sick, and to relieve every needy person. Be with them in their distress, and grant them patience and comfort.
• O Lord, we ask You to accept our prayer, and to answer our supplication. You are able to do all things, and nothing is difficult for You.
